Asthma Care

Patients with asthma can be seen by appointment at any time during the surgery hours. We aim to review every patient with asthma each year.

Contraception

If you need contraception, the doctor and nurse are happy to discuss the options available and help you choose the best method for you.

Counselling

Counselling can be arranged after discussions with the doctor.

Diabetes Care

Patients with diabetes are invited for regular reviews.

Health Promotion

The promotion of a healthy lifestyle has an increasing role in the care we provide for our patients. We provide advice and support for people who want to give up smoking. We will advise you about how much alcohol to drink, healthier eating and the importance of exercise.

Minor ailments

The pharmacy will treat many minor ailments. For further information you may collect a leaflet from reception.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgery is available by appointment for removing moles, sebaceous cysts, and warts and so on, after an assessment by the doctor or nurse.

Physiotherapy

The doctor refers patients requiring physiotherapy are referred to the appropriate physiotherapist.

Sexual Health

The nurse is able to offer confidential advice.

Well Baby Clinic

This clinic is held on alternate Wednesday mornings from– 11:00 – 12:00

Well Woman

You can make Well Woman appointments with the practice nurse for general advice, contraception, hormone replacement therapy etc. You can discuss having an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) fitted at these appointments. Please note that smear appointments can be booked with a nurse throughout the week.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
